Rev. Dr. Dave Beckett

Dave has come home to Alaska!  At least for a year as interim pastor.  He and his family served in this very community from 1991-1999.  It was a great place for their four kids to grow up and still is.  Dave retired from First UMC in Bend, Oregon, where he and his wife, Kim, live.  He will serve Soldotna UMC 3/4 time to strengthen the congregation's ministries.  He'll use the 1/4 time off to make 6 home visits to Bend.

They have four adult children:  Jenny married to Aaron Smith with Isabella and Wesley now living in Salem, OR.  Ryan is single and living in Anchorage.  Lauren married to Rob with Camden and Kylie live in Keizer, OR.  And our beloved Jeremy who now resides in heaven.

Dave enjoys woodworking and is offering a gift of a sacred word to folks in Soldotna.  You can email him at sacredword7@gmail.com to learn more.  He is an enthusiastic fan of Ohio State football, Cincinnati Bengals football, Cincinnati Reds baseball, and Seattle Seahawks.  If you would like to meet with him for a walk, coffee, or beer, email him at dgbeckett@gmail.com.
